Burners Without Borders (BWB) is a grassroots, volunteer-driven, community leadership organization whose goal is  to unlock the creativity of local communities to solve problems and bring about meaningful change.  Founded by Burners (Burning Man participants) who instinctively gathered in the Hurricane Katrina disaster zone to help those who couldn't help themselves, BWB has grown into a dynamic international, volunteer organization made possible by the generous financial support of the community and an army of highly creative volunteers.

With the money raised in our past fundraisers, Burners Without Borders has funded over 20 projects this year that wouldn't otherwise have been possible. In communities across the world, people inspired by the activities of BWB, are taking the initiative to bring creative solutions to issues they care about. Whether it's using art to save camp fires at San Francisco's Ocean Beach or funding permaculture solutions in Botswana, it's BWB's innovative solutions that make a real impact.

BWB is constantly engaged in new projects and their ability to be effective depends largely on donations to buy the materials needed to get the job done.

This is where we can help.  Come out on New Year's Eve and support Burners Without Borders, and bring all your friends!

You can check out what  BWB has been up to at www.burnerswithoutborders.org and be sure and check out their Blog to read about the projects through the words of the volunteers who are on the ground making them happen.
